Since its safely under the hood unlike a cai, is there any issues of running it during winter? Maybe just have to clean it more often??

Don't hone the cylinders.  Measure clearances on the connecting rod bearings when you replace them.

Replace the head gasket, make sure you get the timing right, but if you know what you're doing, you don't need me to tell you that.

yeah i replaced that one on the back. i thought there were two on this motor. I just took the motor out and will replacing the rings tomorrow. Any advice?

The PCV is not on the intake manifold -- it's bolted into the motor on the back right (when looking at the motor from the front of the car.)
